Just finished a great book by Shajen Aziz and Damian Lichtenstein called Discover The Gift. It’s not specifically about fear but to discover your gifts and to fully bring them out into the world and for one to do that we will need to walk through fear..lots of it. The book points out that we all have unique and special gifts, and I fully agree, and it’s our job not only to discover them, but also to bring them into the world. For me; one of my gifts I feel is music; writing, playing, singing, improvising and inspiring others to do the same or to put down their fears and fully embrace their gifts. We’ve all probably heard the expression that we don’t want to leave this world with un-played music still in is.. the classic I should have, I could have, why didn’t I regrets that so many have. In the last chapter of the book they write: “Living life is like sailing. You’re constantly making adjustments and corrections, but once you take the wheel and set your course, you can go anywhere. And after this long journey, if there is any wisdom they can offer, it is simply this: follow your heart, discover your Gifts, and get ready for the greatest adventure of your life.”
